# Check signature-Typed Data

To verify a typed data signature it is required to insert the exact same parameters that was used in the [Sign Type Data](/web3-metamask/elements-details/web3-and-metamask/sign-typed-data.md) action. \
Changing any character will result in incorrect result.\
\
The events and states are the same as for regular [Check signature](/web3-metamask/elements-details/web3-and-metamask/check-signature.md) action, so use those.
